Welcome to the Better Bathrooms website! Firstly, thank you for visiting the number 1 online bathroom showroom. This section of the website is designed to help out users who may be unfamiliar with online shopping or for users who just want general help with purchasing from this website.

We stock a large amount of products on the website, which can be somewhat overawing. Therefore, we have tried to make the site as easy as possible to navigate through, with all our products broken down into categories and sub categories.

Basic Navigation

There are numerous ways you can choose to browse through this website, as we have tried to cater for every internet user, from the more advanced, regular internet user, through to visitor's who may have only just begun surfing online. The 2 main forms of navigation are the links located on the left hand side of this page and the images found in the centre of each page.

The links on the left hand side of the page list the main product categories on the website, e.g. Taps, Showers, Baths etc, along with their subcategories, e.g. modern taps, traditional taps, modern showers, traditional showers etc. However, due to the amount of products held on the site, we could not list every subcategory here. We have instead, provided 'More...' links which will take you to a complete list of the sub categories within the main category. To access these sub categories, you can also click the main category heading, e.g. Taps, Showers, Baths etc. Alternatively, you can use the images found on the centre of the homepage to take you through to the sub category listings. This image based navigation is consistent throughout the site and is used more and more as you get further into each category.

Ranges & Products

After clicking through to a sub category, you will either be presented with the various ranges within that category, e.g. Focus Range, Alpha Range, Classique Range, in the taps category, or you will be presented with a further level of sub categories, e.g. Modern or Traditional.

Once you have a list of the various ranges within a sub category, clicking the 'View Full Range' button, the range's image or the range's heading, will take you to a complete list of all the products within that range. These are the actual products which are available for purchase. There is a brief description of the product, as well as pricing information - which also includes a particular item's postage charge. If you instantly decide you would like to purchase that product, you can click 'Add To Basket', which will add the product to your virtual shopping trolley. However, if you require further information about the product, simply click 'More Information' to be taken through to that particular product's details and specifications.

Product Information

The 'More Information' page has further details of the product, as well as larger images for you to view. Simply click the images on the left of the screen and a new window will open with a larger version of the image. Also on this screen are several buttons which run along the top of the product's description. The first is 'Find Similar Items', which will take you a list of related products (usually products within the same range). There is also an option to review the product, which is a feature designed for customer's who have actually purchased the product and want to leave useful information for fellow shoppers. Perhaps one of the biggest features of the website is the ability to ask a question about a particular product. While the product descriptions aim to provide a comprehensive summary of the product, there are always pieces of information which are not included. Using the 'Ask a Question' feature will enable you to request further information about that particular product directly. These questions will be answered as soon as possible by our technical team. The final two buttons located in this section are 'Add to Wish List' and 'Refer a Friend'. The 'Add to Wish List' feature enables you to add a selection of products to a shopping list which you may consider purchasing after you have finished browsing the site. The items in this shopping list can then be added to your shopping cart should you decide to purchase them. Finally, the 'Refer a Friend' feature enables you to tell a friend about a particular product you have seen which you think your friends might be interested in.

Product Options & Related Items

Some products will have options which you can choose from, such as available sizes or colours which can be seen underneath the product description. Where you see available options or colours, please select one where available, You will not be able to add the item to the basket when their are options available. Once you have selected an option (where applicable), you can add the item to your shopping basket ready for checking out. However, before you checkout, take a look underneath the product to see what other people purchased along with this product. For example, people who purchased a bath, may also have purchased some taps. The section underneath the product labelled 'People who bought this also bought:' will display products which you may also require. Clicking these products will provide you with more information and allow you to add them to your basket.

Your Shopping Basket

Once you have selected all the items you which to purchase, you will need to visit the checkout to actually pay for the products. At the top of every page is a summary of what is contained in your shopping basket. This tells you how many items you have added and the total price for these items. Clicking this text will take you through to your shopping basket with details of the products you have actually added. Here you can amend the products in the basket by changing the quantities you are ordering, or you can remove the products entirely by placing a tick in the check box and clicking update cart. To amend the quantities of the items, simply enter the number you require into the quantity box and again, click update cart. Once you are happy with the items and quantities in the cart, click Checkout and you will be taken through to the registration stage.

Registration

Before you can purchase your products, you will need to register as a new user on the website. This is just so we know where to ship the products to and to ensure your payment details match your delivery address. However, if you have registered before and are a returning customer, you can simply enter your previous details and continue through to the checkout. If you have never purchased before, please fill in your details in the fields provided. Fields marked with a * are mandatory and must be completed. Once you have completed these details correctly, simply click submit and you will be taken through to the checkout.

Checkout

On the checkout screen, you will be provided with an order number, as well as a summary of the products you are about to order. The postage charge you will pay is also added on here. This is based on the number of products you are ordering as well as the types of products being ordered. You will also see a confirmation of your delivery and contact details. Please ensure everything on this page is correct before continuing. If you need to make changes, simply click the back button in your browser.

On the checkout page, there is also a link to our Terms & Conditions which you must read and agree to before being allowed to pay for your items. Once you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions, please check the box labelled "I have read and agreed to the terms and conditions".

Finally, once you have confirmed all your details and agreed to the terms and conditions, click the button labelled 'Click here to enter secure site and purchase items'. You will now be taken through to our secure payment pages, which are provided by the secure online merchant Worldpay. This is 100% secure, as you will see from the padlock located at the bottom of your internet browser and the website address, which begins with https:// rather than the standard http://. Paying For Your Items

Once you have been transferred to our secure merchant Worldpay, you will firstly need to select your payment type, e.g. Visa, Mastercard, Switch etc. Once this has been selected, you will be taken to a page where you will need to enter your card details. Most of your other details will already have been completed, but if you need to make and amendments, please do so here. When you are satisfied all your details are correct, please click the 'Make Payment' text and your payment will be processed for authorisation. On completion of this process, you will be taken to a page which will tell you the results of your payment. Providing your transaction was successful, you will be emailed confirming your purchase. However, if your payment did not go through successfully, you can return to the website to complete the checkout process again using different details.

Delivery Of Your Items

Delivery times of our products varies from product to product. We aim to deliver our Taps and Showers within 5-7 Working Days although this is subject to the availability of the goods. For all our other items, our delivery time is 10-14 working days, although again, this is subject to the availability of the goods.
