I was naturally nervous about buying such a large money item from the internet ( we bought a whole bathroom suite with accessories). Better bathrooms were great though, they were really good at explaining the dispatch and delivery process to me. Apex left hand combination unit
If you have a bathroom where space is at a premium but you don’t want to compromise on the size of your basin or storage, then I would definitely recommend the Apex left hand combination unit. The MDF construction of this combination unit is of high quality and what makes the product unique is how the waterproof laminate coating makes it completely impervious to water.
The Apex combination is available in 3 different BTW WC designs so you can choose a design that will suit any bathroom. I would recommend the timeless appeal that the walnut finish brings as it will complement both traditional and contemporary bathroom settings.
I think the best feature of this unit is how it can really help you save space in the bathroom. This is all down to the unique L shaped design of the Apex furniture as it means the toilet is only 220mm in projection, giving you more space within the room. Also, the internal size of the basin means that although the unit is more compact, there is still plenty of room within the basin to suit your everyday requirements. Another space saving element is its additional storage area, which I think is great for smaller bathrooms or where storage is limited.
An additional feature is that the one piece basin and worktop is manufactured from polyglomerate – a crushed stone and resin composition – this is extremely strong and durable, and as there are no join marks or areas that need to be siliconed, it makes maintaining the unit very easy.
The unit comes supplied with a dual flush concealed cistern with all of the required internals. As the individual units that make up this Apex combination are all pre-assembled, there is only minimal installation work required.
For those who wanted extra storage, I would certainly suggest teaming this unit with the range of fully modular TD walnut storage units. You can then make a choice between the wall and floor unit options for a completely bespoke design that will fit the size of any bathroom.
