Home renovation tips provided
A series of tips for people planning home renovation and bathroom suite updates have been provided, depending on what their overall goals are.

Angie Hicks, founder of Angie’s List, a website that collects consumer reviews of local contractors, told MarketWatch that if property owners intend to sell, it is best to concentrate on areas that will make a difference to buyers, while bringing a positive return on investment.
This includes keeping the residence in good repair, so fixing leaky taps was recommended, updating tired old bathrooms, as well as improving curb appeal by fitting new doors and considering landscaping.
However, those who want to stay in their homes should do an annual inventory of their dwellings, Ms Hicks suggested, followed by prioritising projects and tackling them in order of importance.
“Don’t add a deck when you need to replace the water heater,” she remarked.
One quick and easy update could be installing some bathroom cabinets, as recommended by Jeremy Vest of DirectBuy, who said this simple touch-up can make living spaces seem like new.
