Are solid marble bathroom suites the future?

Solid marble bathroom suites could become more and more popular in the years to come because in addition to looking amazing, they are also very easy to keep clean.

Speaking to the Springfield Connection, Susan Cassell of Great Falls Design came up with the idea of a washroom surface that did not have grouting exposed to moist air and would not be damaged by the leaks that drip through cracks.

Eventually, with help from local firm EuroStoneCraft, the householder and interiors professional came up with the idea of a shower with a custom-cut marble wall and floor.

“I’ve found this a really effective solution for bathrooms and the colour options are impressive. I’ve been regularly introducing it to my clients,” Said Ms Cassell.

And Taylor Swift has in the past favoured marble, with her Nashville mansion – which is currently up for sale – featuring five-and-a-half washrooms all clad in the classic stone surface.
