Brits prioritise stocked toilet roll holders on holiday
Ensuring that toilet roll holders are stocked remains a priority for Brits – even when they are on their jollies.
According to Holidayhypermarket.co.uk, a survey by lowcostholidays.com found the most important things holidaymakers from the UK pack before leaving for an overseas sojourn are loo paper and teabags.
And a fondness for the flavours of the homeland did not end there, with many claiming they tuck a cheeky jar of Marmite or pack of bacon into their bag to keep them from feeling homesick.
Furthermore, nearly a quarter (24 per cent) of Britons come prepared with an alarm clock when they jet off – perhaps to beat their fellow holidaymakers to the sun loungers in the morning.
And taking some extra loo paper to Coney Island in New York may be advisable, because last month it was announced that public toilets along the boardwalk would be empty of tissues, which would be rationed out by attendants to save money.
