A home improvements centre in Swindon could give consumers looking for tips on renovation projects the know-how to do it themselves – perhaps in the bathroom.
According to Jaclyn Thorburn, communications manager at BuildStore, The National Self Build & Renovation Centre in the Wiltshire town is the only permanent expo of its kind in Europe offering people a one stop shop for all things concerning home improvement.
“[It] is an excellent resource for learning all about the self-build and renovation process,” she stated.
At the expo, visitors can see full-scale exhibitions and model houses and can also pose their questions to experts and attend courses to improve their DIY skills.
According to a study by the British Retail Consortium and Google, a growing number of householders may be looking to improve their homes themselves turning to the internet for tips – which may include searches concerning revamping the bathroom or installing new bathroom furniture.
