The bathroom can be a traffic-jammed room at times – particularly in the half-hour before various members of the household have to dash off to catch the bus or make it to that early meeting.

Luckily, one design expert has a solution to clogged washrooms and claims clever space division can resolve any difficulties where congestion is concerned.

Writing for the Epoch Times, writer and designer Alyssa Davis said a good place to begin is by dividing the bathroom furniture storage space into halves for him and her.

She then recommended reorganising products and how they are stowed so each partner has their own things without needing to creep over to the other side and invade their other half’s bathroom space.

And families with children have been reminded to teach their little ones good habits in the washroom.

According to the Sulphur Daily News, a study by the Delta Faucet Company found that one in five adults neglects to wash their hands after each visit to the toilet.
