We opened our doors back in the early 2000s, eager to help people find better bathroom products. And while it wasn't all smooth sailing, we quickly grew into one of the UK's largest independent stores. In fact, by 2014, we were a £60 million business. Not bad, eh?
In 2018, we were bought by the Buy It Direct Group, to enhance its homeware operation. They supercharged our entrepreneurial spirit and armed us with a savvy new infrastructure, which gave us the freedom to do what we do best – source incredible products, inspire customers and share expert advice.

Our founder, Nick Glynne, bought his first business in 1999 and acquired Better Bathrooms in 2018. Since then, we've grown very big, very quickly.
Today, we manage over 750,000sq ft of warehouse, care for over 600 employees and maintain a specialist 2-man delivery service – plus 50 vans.
Together, we source, stock and ship oodles of items from our warehouses in Huddersfield, Elland and the East Midlands; for Appliances Direct, Laptops Direct, Drones Direct and Furniture123.
