    Answer

    Hi there,

In order to conceal this within a wall, you will require a minimum depth of 220mm if you are to use our Cistern, 7601.

A perfect minimalist look for a modern bathroom, back to wall sanitaryware can be installed against your bathroom wall, against a false wall behind which you can hide your concealed cistern, or against a WC unit as part of a room of fully fitted bathroom furniture.

If you’ve decided on a back to wall toilet, don’t forget that you’ll usually need to buy your concealed cistern and wall mounting frame separately – so do allow for this in your bathroom budget. At the point of installation, you’ll also need to consider arrangements for access to your cistern: no toilet cistern can be expected to function perfectly, maintenance-free, for a lifetime and you’ll need to be able to get in there and sort out any minor difficulties which occur. A WC unit offers you an access panel for this purpose; if you’re fitting your back to wall toilet directly against a wall (structural or false), remember to include a lift away access panel over your cistern.

We offer a range of basins with our back to wall toilets: modern, semi-pedestal basins are a good match with this type of toilet as they echo its basic shape and style.
