By E Harris On 2013-03-17 18:54:46

Hello
Is the screen available hinged, also is there one with a towel rail on?
By Jacqui On 2012-10-11 17:21:37
Hello
The screen that comes with the spacesaver bath is hinged but unfortunatley the screen is not supplied with a towel rail attachment at this time.

Can you tell me how far the screen projects at its maximum radius, out from the minimum at its hinge point? Thanks.
By Michael Seddon On 2012-04-11 12:43:02
Hi there, The projection is approximately 95mm.

Hi can you clarify if the door also swings inwards as this is what we require. If not can you suggest an alternative (preferably square top without towel rail. Thanks

Hi Do you know how far this screen should open for access. My bathroom was installed today & this screen feels very tight & only opens a little bit. I assumed it would open wide enough for ease of access in and out of the bath. Could you please advise. Many Thanks Hazel Rendall

The screen should be able to pivot easily. It should move either way until it hits the bath tap or a sink if it is next to it. i.e virtually 180 degrees.

If you have always resisted the temptation to install a shower in your bathroom because you simply don't have the space for both a bath and a shower enclosure, then a bath screen leaves you with no more excuses!
The addition of a bath screen to any bath instantly transforms it into not just a multi functioning piece of bathroom furniture, but also, a more sophisticated and stylish piece of bathroom furniture. Gone is the need for a tacky shower curtain with a ghastly print on it, slowly gathering more and more lime scale and mold, a bath screen is the more attractive and more sensible option. A bath screen gives you the same, if not better protection from water leakage as a shower curtain, but with the added benefit of it looking great in your bathroom.
A fixed bath screen is ideal for where showering is a regular occurrence or where the shower is the primary cleansing option in the bathroom. A fixed bath screen is mounted to the wall and held in place, requiring no folding away. However, for those wanting to bathe small children or even those who want to wash their hair over the bath, a pivoted bath screen maybe a more suitable option. This type of bath screen is on a hinge and pivots back across the bath, allowing easy access to the front of the bath. An alternative solution is a bi folding bath screen, which instead of being placed back across the bath, compresses inwards flat against the wall. Finally, to complete the transformation of your bath, a return bath screen could be used which combines with your standard bath screen to form a complete shower enclosure in your bath!
