I have just recieved this unit, and on inspection it seems like a quality item. The bowl is glass fibre, but is very thick (approx 20mm) so is probably more durable than an equivalant porcelain item. There is no visible way of fixing the bowl to the unit, so I will resort to lots of silicone! Great value for money.
