Questions & Answers

Question from Aliyah: Asked on 02/09/2018 Is this only attached to the wall at 1 place? Is there an additional arm or anything holding it in place?

Answer from Colin There is just the one wall profile that attaches to the wall

Question from Faye: Asked on 06/06/2018 I have this shower screen, it was purchased around November/December 2015. The smaller section that shouldn't move from the metal bit attached to the length of the wall keeps slipping out of the metal holder. This has been happening for quite a while, the top half has been slipping out like it's drooping for some reason and we keep having to push the glass back up and into the fixed structure. However recently the whole length of the shower screen has been coming out and could be extremely dangerous if the wall bracket can't hold the weight and it falls over. Is this a manufacturing fault and is there a solution?

Thanks

Question from Sally Smith: Asked on 28/02/2018 We currently have one similar to this (not from yourselves) and are looking to replace it because it leaks everywhere but also, the seal at the bottom of the fixed part of it has gone all mouldy where water has got in over time. Is there a way this part of the seal can be cleaned on your model (which we're planning to buy)? Thanks

Answer from colin hello,

you can take them out clean them and put them back on but we also sell parts for our own screens and they are about £9 so personally I would do that every few years.

Question from David charman: Asked on 19/02/2018 does the screen open inwards or outwards or both as I have bath handles that would be in the way if inwards thanks

Answer from Colin Hello,

all the hinged screens open both ways.

Question from Peter: Asked on 31/01/2018 I have just purchased this screen - I have a question can the side screen be raised or lowered ?
The bottom of the pivot is very low compared to the fixed panel so I need to adjust the height. Otherwise the gap between the fixed panel and the bath top is too high - please advise

Answer from chris Hi,

You would need to speak with our technical team about this please see link - https://help.betterbathrooms.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001858725-My-Product-Is-Faulty-How-Do-I-Get-A-Replacement-Part-

Kind regards.

Question from Dawn: Asked on 28/11/2017 Hi, can you confirm that the screen comes with seals for both the bottom of the moveable door panel and for the side between the fixed panel and moveable panel please?
Thanks

Answer from chris Hi,

All seals are provided with the product you may need to silicon the part that fits to the wall just to make it extra water tight.

Question from Jane : Asked on 26/11/2017 Is the screen easy clean

Answer from chris Hi,

As long as you clean it regularly then it will remain easy to clean and prevent any build up.

Question from Nik: Asked on 20/10/2017 When our plumber fitted the screen, the drainage slots were on the outside of the screen and so I need to turn them around. Does the hinged screen detach from the fixed screen easily for me to be able to do this? I have a curved screen and so can't just turn the entire thing upside down and refit.

Question from Mrs Walker: Asked on 15/09/2017 Can it be fixed on either side of the bath ? Or do you purchase one for the right side and different left side ?

Answer from Ryan Hi, the screen can go on either side. Thanks, Ryan.

Question from C kay: Asked on 18/01/2016 Hi

I am struggling with the rubber seal on the bath shower screen.

I have the following questions:

The manual refers to it going round the axis. How to I get the rubber seal around the axis when I can't even get it to stick on the bottom of the longest section of the door.

Thanks
