People who are considering purchasing a yacht may find its bathroom suite is created by British designer William Garvey.

The company recently unveiled a set of baths made entirely of teak, influenced by both Japanese traditional interior architecture and the marine industry. Its founder, Bill Garvey, explained that the natural oils found in the component help it resist damage and gives it a tighter seal to prevent water leakage.

Called Geo, the original set of baths is built with deep sides, making it taller, instead of longer. This means that it can be individually tailored to fit into more compact spaces.

The models built for water vessels are slightly different in that they are more lightweight. Mr Garvey explained this makes them highly suitable for this new purpose.

A whole host of options are available to those considering a William Garvey interior for their yacht. As well as standard appliances such as sinks, the company has also created heated spa tubs and living interiors decked out with wooden panelled flooring.
