Space comes at a premium in most homes these days and this is especially true of the bathroom, but one expert has claimed there are ways to make even a small washroom seem more spacious.
Speaking to City AM, creative director of APD Interiors Andrew Dunning said that if householders are willing to make the sacrifice, getting rid of the bath can be an easy way to free up more room in the water closet.
He recommended replacing the tub with a shower and specifically opting for a frameless glass shower enclosure which will also make the room appear larger.
And people looking to replicate a traditional Scandinavian bathroom could opt for a wet room by waterproofing their entire washroom.
A good material for a wet room could be marble, because Susan Cassell of Great Falls Design told the Springfield Connection that the stone looks amazing in the bathroom and is very easy to keep clean because there are fewer grout lines.
