Question from Dave : Asked on 07/03/2016 Hi would I be able to connect this to an electric shower unit?

Answer from Simon Hi,

This system would always need to be connected to the boiler system. There is no way you could connect this up to electric shower unit

Question from Steven: Asked on 25/02/2016 Can you connect this to a electric shower

Answer from Benjamin Linnert Good afternoon,

Thank you for your question,

Theoretically speaking you can hook it up to an electric shower as it has the the same thread size for the chosen shower rail kit. However it might not have sufficient pressure to operate efficiently.

Kind regards.

Question from Becki: Asked on 17/02/2016 Can this product be used with an electric shower?

Answer from Simon Kirby Hi,

No this product has to be connected to a bar valve or concealed valve which would run directly from the boiler with a hot and cold feed

Question from Philip : Asked on 26/01/2016 How do you stop the unit turning after it has been fitted.

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

Thank you for your question.

This unit does move once it has been installed.

Question from Nick: Asked on 09/08/2015 Is the distance between two wall brackets adjustable or fixed?

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

Thank you for your question.

The wall bracket is adjustable and can be moved up or down.

If you have any more questions please call our sales team on 0161 667 6560.

Question from Boundin girl: Asked on 12/07/2015 Hi,

Can I use this with an existing power shower unit?

Yes as long as it is not an electric shower.

If you have any more questions please call our sales team on 0161 667 6560.

Question from Ted Higgins: Asked on 23/06/2015 Hi, could this be fitted to an electric shower via the usual outlet flexi pipe?

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

Thank you for your question.

I am afraid this one would not suit as an electric shower does not have a sufficient flow rate for a large shower head like this.

Question from Sauro Scarpelli: Asked on 29/04/2015 When the water is coming out of the larger fixed shower head, the pipe that it attached to the wall by the 2 brackets, slides down lowering the entire shower unit - can you tell me how to tighten it in order to stop this happening? Many thanks

Answer from Jamie Hi,

thank you for your question I would recommend speaking to our customer service team as it seems like you may have a faulty item there number is 01925 544 861.

Question from Laura: Asked on 25/03/2015 Am I right in thinking the bar at the bottom is not included? I wouldn't need it as I don't have a thermostatic shower, it's electric. Can the hose from this be connected to an electric shower? Having trouble finding an overhead shower kit for my electric shower to go over my roll top bath.

Answer from Anthony Hi there,

Thank you for your question.

The thermostatic bar is not included with this rail kit.

I am afraid it would not be compatible with an electric shower either as it would not generate enough pressure for it to work.

Kind Regards

Question from Jason: Asked on 13/03/2015 Can this be attached to an electric shower to replace the standard hand held head and hose?

Answer from jonathan hi thank you for your question, this couldn't be attached to an electric shower however it can be fittest instead of the electric shower, i hope this information was useful.

kind regards

Question from Gayle: Asked on 24/02/2015 Can you tell me which parts are chrome and which parts are plastic please?
Also, can this be replace the hose on a power shower?

Answer from Jamie Hi,

thank you for your question the rail kit and mixer bar are solid brass chrome plated and the shower heads are acrylic and finished in chrome. I would not advise using this with an electric shower if you have any further questions please feel free to give us a call on 0161 667 6560.

Question from Paul: Asked on 04/01/2015 Hi,
Are both wall mounting brackets adjustable along the riser bar? Or is one fixed?

Answer from Peter Hi there,

Thank you for your question.

This slide rail kit is not adjustable I am afraid and has a fixed height of 1000mm.

Neither bracket is adjustable.

Kind Regards

Question from David Davies: Asked on 19/08/2014 The kit looks perfect for my needs, but I am worried about the strength of a chrome plated plastic 22mm pipe running 1000mm straight up a wall and then 380mm out from the wall without any support from the wall to the shower head. Have you had any problem with breakages of this pipe.

Answer from Anthony Hi there,

We have had no issues with this reported and you should have no problems once it is installed.

Kind Regards

Question from Paul Childs: Asked on 14/08/2014 Can this be attached to the outlet on a 10.5kw electric shower? If not, is there a similar product that does?

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

I am afraid not. We would not hold one that would suit a electric shower.

Question from Mr M Woollard: Asked on 14/08/2014 Dear Sir/Madam

Could you tell me if it is feasible to run this type of combination head from an existing 10.8kw Electric Shower, or are these riser kits only advised with Thermostatic valve configs. I have seen these and was hoping I could replace the existing Rail Slider Kit with one of these from my Electric Shower.

I look forward to your response.

Answer from Anthony Hi there,

I am afraid the rail kits are only compatible with the thermostatic valves as you have mentioned unfortunately.

Kind Regards

Question from Ian K: Asked on 10/08/2014 Is the dualex riser rail kit suitable for use with an electric shower?

Answer from Matt Clarke Hi and thank you for your question,

Yes you could however the screw threads on the hose pipes would need to be the same.

Question from Andrew Reeder: Asked on 22/06/2014 Hi,

On this item are both the wall brackets height adjustable or just the top one?

Many thanks, Andrew

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

It is both that are adjustable.

Question from Edward Davey: Asked on 02/03/2014 can the length of the riser rail be shortened by 100mm

Answer from Peter Hello.

It is a rigid piece so you would not be able to reduce it by 100 mm.

Question from mrs m neuville: Asked on 11/08/2013

Hello, I would like to know how to connect this shower to the tap on my bath, as I have an electric shower at the momenet and want to change it. Thanks

Question from colin carson: Asked on 24/02/2013

Can u please let me know asap which of your shower rail kits are compatable with an electric shower,.

Answer from Andrea Bullen

Hi there,

All the rail kits that attach with a shower hose are compatible with electric showers as this fixing is a standard fit.You will need to check that your electric shower has enough bar pressure to run the showers. All the information on the minimum and maximum bar pressure is in the product description for each rail kit.The Dualex riser rail kit you have asked about needs a minimum pressure of 1.0 bar.

Question from Jane Starley: Asked on 12/02/2013

Is this chromed plastic or chrome plated brass? If so which parts are which??

Answer from Lee

On the dualex riser kit is made from chrome plated plastic.

I hope this helps but if you need any further information do not hesitate to contact us.

Question from joe sample: Asked on 05/09/2012

Answer from Mike B
