Questions & Answers

Question from Andy: Asked on 28/08/2018 Hi, can you get spare parts for these taps? I have one of these and the insert with the gauze filter has rotted away internally and the two retainer screws have fallen out. I am reluctant to replace the whole tap as would mean stripping out my bath panels to get to the connections

Answer from Nathan Donley-McGregor Hi.

Yes this would be possible if you call our sales team.

If you have any more questions please call our sales team on 0161 667 6560.

Regards

Question from Miss Natalie Hall: Asked on 14/05/2017 Is it possible to buy the screws underneath the flow tap... had the bathroom fitted in August 2016 & these 2 screws have just fell out down the plug leaving me in a position that I can not use the bath now...

Question from David Seddon: Asked on 01/03/2016 My tap is dripping what disc do i need to fix this

Answer from Benjamin Linnert Good afternoon,

Thank you for your question.

It sounds like your ceramic disc needs replacing. If you give us a call on 033 777 4777 option 2, then we can discuss sending one out to you.

Kind regards.

Question from Chris: Asked on 14/01/2016 How do I remove and clean the filter on the waterfall tap? It has worked fine for a while but is now obviously blocked and spraying water across the room. Unfortunately I lost the instructions it came with.

Answer from Simon If you contact our after sales department on 01925 544 861 they will be able to assist you with this

Question from Keely white: Asked on 25/10/2015 The water is flowing to quickly through this tap. We think there is something blocking the filter. It is squirting the water to the other end of the bath. Do I need to remove the whole tap to access the filter?. Does this happen often with this tap as I have not had it a year yet

Answer from Benjamin Linnert Good Evening,

Thank you for your question.

It is not a problem that I am familiar with, however it sounds to me as if your water pressure is too high for the tap and causing the water to spurt out at an accelerated rate. To access the filter just in case, I would remove the entire tap so you can get a view of the filter at all angles.

Kind regards.

Question from Peter ,Skelhon: Asked on 25/11/2014 Can I increase the flow as it is very slow and will not fill the bath.

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

Thank you for your question.

I am afraid there is no way that we can increase your pressure without a use of a pump.

I would advised speaking to our technical department on 0844 484 7678 (Option 2).

Regards.

Question from daniel thomson: Asked on 29/10/2014 What is the size of the thread to connect the taps to the hot and cold water supply. it shows G 3/4 on the diagram but it cant be a 3/4 inch pipe as i have measured it at around 2"

Answer from Anthony Hi there,

Thank you for your question.

The pipe connection for this bath filler is 22mm

Kind Regards

Question from MADELINE HOLROYD: Asked on 22/09/2014 Will this bath tap fit the Dolce inset hydrotherapy bath 2100mm x 1050mm product code 3748.
Thank you.

Answer from Matt Clarke Hi, Yes it does. You would place the taps above the over flow and waste in the centre of the bath.

If you need any help please call on 0161 667 6560 my name is Matt.

Regards

Question from sam: Asked on 10/04/2014 The tap has reduced our water pressure, did we need to do anything to it before fitting to the bath? There is a mesh like feature where the water comes out does that need to be removed?

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

I would not remove the mash at its protecting you from any bits that is in your water supply. If you are having issues with the tap please call our customer support team on 0844 484 7678 (option 2)

Regards.

Question from A. Howell: Asked on 23/09/2013

When looking at the front of the tap which side does the cold water pipe connect and similary the hot? Thanks.

Answer from Clive Walker

Hi there. If looking at the tap from the front, as the main picture is on the website or in the brochure, the hot connection is on the left and the cold on the right.

Question from Bill Clemence: Asked on 18/04/2013

Is it possible to adjust the flow rate on these taps?

Answer from Anthony

Hi there,

Yes, you would need a "flow regulator" or an "isolation valve". We recommend consulting a qualified installer/plumber on this query who will be able to advise further.

Question from Darryl: Asked on 10/03/2013

Hi, Can you confirm the distance between centres please?

Answer from Lee

Hi there,

The distance between the pipe centres on all our bath fillers and bath shower mixers is 180mm.

Question from Simon clay: Asked on 11/09/2012

Hello

Do these taps fit the Athena bath and if so are they comparable with a megaflo system i.e. is the flow regulated with it being an open ended tap or will the water spray everywhere?

Answer from Mike B

Hello

This item would be suitable for the Athena Bath as you would have to drill the holes yourself. In regards to the water, it shouldn't spray everywhere, it should flow out smoothly so long as the system has been adjusted correctly.

Question from Ali: Asked on 27/02/2012 Hi do these taps have a threaded fitting please? Thanks

Answer from Mike B Hi there,

If you mean by the fact they fasten to the basin, it is by a bolt in which you screw in to the base of the tap.

Question from lyndsey jackson: Asked on 12/02/2012 Please can you give me the width and depth sizes of the bath filler?

Many thanks

Answer from Lee Hi there,

The width is approx 230mm and the depth is also approx 230mm.

Question from tony carling: Asked on 24/12/2011 what is tha spacing of the tap base as i want to fit them to a old enamell bath

Answer from probertshaw The tap hole spacing is 180mm from centre to centre. If your spacing is any different then you will struggle to find a bath filler, and I would suggest you go for 2 separate bath taps.
