Answer from Colin You will need an extended waste product code 6296

Question from Georgina: Asked on 24/11/2017 Could you confirm that the Lisbon bath can have a bath filler kit mounted onto the bath. Itself as we can’t have wall mounted and I don’t want a freestanding tap.

Question from simon: Asked on 07/03/2017 Can holes be drilled and taps inserted to the side of the bath? Although it is shown in one picture, it is not in the technical documents. If so, how can the taps be tightened given the gap is too narrow to fit an arm from the base?

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

Thank you for your question.

Yes that would be suitable and you would need a extended tap wrench.

If you have any more questions please call us on 0161 667 6560.

Question from Laura Harry: Asked on 13/11/2016 This bath shows that taps can be installed. However, our plumber has said it is impossible to tighten normal taps to this bath because of it's depth and narrow access from the base up. Is there is a special tool to make sure the taps are watertight? He advised having bought normal taps as per the features section that this bath will only work with a freestanding tap. Please can you advise? Thank you

Answer from chris thomas Hi,

Thank you for your question.

it shouldnt be an issue as the area where the taps are mounted is wider/deeper to accommodate this.

If you need any more info or wish to place an order please contact me using the details below.

Question from craig bound: Asked on 12/11/2014 How much of a void is there beneath the bath and is the 590mm set height or is that the minimum or maximum

Answer from jonathan hi thank you for your question, can you please resubmit this question and be more specific in regards to the void you are talking about. the 590mm is the maximum height of the bath, i hope this information was helpful alternativley you can contact us on 08444847678

Question from dlawrie: Asked on 15/07/2014 What is the height of this bath? thanks!

Answer from Peter bath height is 590mm

Question from Alan : Asked on 17/03/2014 I have wall mounted mixer, the spout comes out 170mm, will this be long enough if the bath is 20mm off the wall. (Don't know thickness of bath)

Answer from Peter Hi,

Thank you for your question.

The thickness of the bath at the side where you could mount taps is 85 mm so 105 mm if you bring the bath off the wall by 20 mm so the tap you have would work for this, if you turn the bath around the thickness is 45 mm so the spout would over hang more if installed this way.

Question from Les Smith: Asked on 14/03/2014 Elderley mother wants a bath but the bungaloe she is moving to has a hard floor wet room which is ver small. Would this product free stand on the floor and empty if I only fit a plug hole. Intend letting her fill it from the installed shower as not allowed to make any alterations to the room. A small free standing bath seems the only way forward. Was looking for 1400mm roll top on feet but no joy.

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

This is not advisable as you will need to install a waste trap through the floor.

Question from steve: Asked on 03/03/2014 could I ask you to check the length of this bath - it's listed at 1400 yet the video say its come in 1500-1700

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

Yes we do have other sizes of this bath that is why it states that in the video. The bath is correct at 1400mm.

Question from doreen: Asked on 05/02/2014 in the video bath looks an off white colour, would you say it was or is it a bright white colour
many thanks

Answer from Peter Hi,

Thanks for your question. This bath is British standard white.

Question from mark lucas: Asked on 07/01/2014 can the waste pipe and water pipes be brought out the side of the bath as opposed to coming up through the floor boards

Question from Colin Bexley: Asked on 10/11/2012

Does the waste and plumbing have to go underneath the floor for this type of bath ?

Answer from Mike B

Hi there

There is a void beneath this bath which could take part of the waste. Generally, the waste would also go under the flooring. It would be advisable to contact a professional installer relating to this question, as they would be able to give you more detailed advice.
