Question from Louella Faria: Asked on 16/06/2018 Hi there - could someone tell me please, the dimensions of the panel section where taps could be installed? I would like to order this bath but would like to know if the taps I'd like will fit please. Many thanks! Louella

Answer from glenn hi the taps can be installed where ever you want as the baths come un drilled if you like to process a order if you call me on 0161 667 6560

Question from Stacey Williams: Asked on 05/12/2017 Can taps be fitted on the side of this bath like in the photograph?

Answer from chris Hi,

Yes the taps can be fitted onto the side of the bath.

Question from Jules: Asked on 29/06/2017 The bath is double skinned acrylic. Is each sheet 3mm which makes the 6mm you mention as the thickness? Can the bath be refinished if it gets scratched?

Answer from Ryan M Hi there

Thank you for your question.

It would be difficult to determine how thick each skin is. I understand that this bath is made from high quality acrylic. This bath is reinforced with fibreglass for extra reinforcement. It is why we are confident with the 25 year guarantee.

You can buy products used to reduce the show of scratches but unfortunately we do not sell these.

If you would like any further information, or if you would like to place an order, please do not hesitate to contact me

Thank you again

Many thanks

Question from James: Asked on 29/02/2016 Hi how do u access the waste and connect the taps?? Does this have removable surround/panel??

Answer from Benjamin Linnert Good morning,

Thank you for your question.

It is a twin skin pipe and has a hollowed out section between two layers of acrylic giving you access to the waste and taps.

Kind regards.

Question from Mrs d mercer: Asked on 20/01/2016 Just alittle concerned I have purchased Lisbon bath 16500x750 freestanding bath I also ordered 6296 extended bath waste before plumber is coming have I ordered the correct waste for this product ?thankyou

Question from jo: Asked on 10/10/2015 what is width and depth of tap plate.

Answer from Benjamin Linnert Good Morning,

Thank you for your question.

When you say the tap plate I assume you mean the area in which you could deck the taps onto the bath mould. This area is approximately 80mm x 450mm.

Kind regards.

Question from Rebecca: Asked on 28/05/2015 This bath has been installed but does not fit flush with the floor because of the way the feet are moulded. There is therefore a gap between the bottom of the bath and the floor tiles of approx 1cm - ie too much to be silicones. Please can you advise whether we've missed something with the feet or whether there is another method for getting this to sit flush?? Thanks

Answer from Jamie Hi,

Thank you for your question you have got 2 options with this firstly you could use a piece of plywood to pack the space under the leg or alternatively you could send pictures into our customer service team and they would be able to make a decision as to weather the bath has a fault or not. The customer service number is 01925 544 861.

Question from Ahmed Khan: Asked on 03/05/2015 Hi there,
I am looking to purchase this bath and I wanted to enquire whether there is a gap at the bottom of the bath so the waste pipes can be fitted inside the bath or will the waste pipes need to be fitted into the floor.
Kind Regards
Ahmed

Answer from Matt Clarke Hi,

there is a void area underneath the bath for the waste fitting. If you need any further assistance please call us on 0161 667 6560, my name is Matt.

Regards

Question from Sin Baxter: Asked on 18/04/2015 Hi is this bath compatible with any whirlpool systems?

Answer from Peter Hi as this bath is a freestanding bath you wouldn't be able to have a whirlpool system in this style bath I am afraid

Question from Catherine: Asked on 04/03/2015 We want to put this bath against a wall, and we want to use it to shower in.

1. Is it suitable for sealing against a tiled wall?

2. Are the outer sides of the bath vertical - in other words, will it sit flat against the wall or will there be a significant gap behind it?

Answer from Peter Hi there,

Thank you for your question.

We would not recommend using this bath as a showering option with it being designed to be free-standing.

It would not be suitable to be sealed against a tiled wall as the bath slopes and curves down at the back end where the taps can be positioned.

Kind Regards

Question from jodi campbell: Asked on 27/02/2015 Does the bath have room underneath to run a waste. My waste is on the opposite side of the floor to the plughole. Will there be enough room to run along and under the bath to the waste exit in my floor?

Answer from Matt Clarke Hi,

The bath has a void underneath to fit all the necessary wastes and connections. As to weather you would have space I would recommend seeking a plumbers advice.

If I can help anymore please call me on 0161 667 6560 my name is Matt.

Regards

Question from Nick Booth: Asked on 25/02/2015 The outer skin is Acrylic is it delicate I:E if is knocked by a knee or hoover will it dent?

Answer from Jamie Hi,

Thank you for your question the bath is manufactured from a very strong acrylic and would be OK with slight knocks and bangs but I could not comment on this over a long period of time if you have any further questions please feel free to give us a call on 0161 667 6560.

Question from jason jancso: Asked on 05/02/2015 Hi im fitting wall mounted tap filler which overhangs approx 170mm..what depth is the tap mounted area please.

Question from Anthony Beard: Asked on 20/04/2014 In the Lisbon bath (1650 x 750 version) what is the distance from the outside edge of the bath to the centre line of the waste cut out hole? so we can tell our plumber where to cut a hole the floor to position the waste pipe.

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

I would not advise cutting a hole in your floor before you have the bath as all size are approximate.

Regards.

Question from Tony Ryder: Asked on 08/04/2014 Hi

Does the waste sit high enough for me not to have to excavate any of the floor? I have a newly tiled floor and can't break it up. Also how is the bath fixed in place.

Many thanks

Answer from Peter Hi,

There is a 5 inch gap from the bottom of the bath to the floor so you can run your waste pipe out through the side.

Question from carlie: Asked on 16/02/2014 i have this bath and the revelant waste pop up that goes with it. do you still need a waste trap and flexible waste pipe or can i just get the waste pipe?

Answer from Peter Hello.

You would need a separate trap.

Regards,

Question from Meera Nair: Asked on 04/02/2014 Is the Lisbon freestanding bath acrylic or fibreglass?

Answer from Peter Hi,

Thanks for your question. This bath is made from acrylic and is double skinned for extra rigidity.

Question from Terence carlin: Asked on 09/01/2014 do you have any details / instructions on how the lisbon bath should be installed and secured to the floor

We are considering purchasing the bathand would need to prepare waste etc prior to delivery

Additionally, what gauge of acrylic is used in the construction of the bath

many thanks

Question from Diane Bowden: Asked on 11/12/2013 Please could you tell me the measurement between internal base of the bath and the overflow. I am looking for a bath that provides for a deep soak and a low overflow position in some baths reduces potential water level.

Thanks Diane

Answer from Peter Hi,

In order to get that technical information you would need to speak to our customer care team and they will log your call and then pass you over to our technical department. Please call on 01942 369 820

King regards

Question from Martin Harrison: Asked on 12/09/2013

Could this bath be used on a concrete floor? Does the waste pipe need to be below floor level? The bath will be quite close to a wall.

Answer from Nathan McGregor

Hello. This bath would not suit what you are trying to do I am afraid. The distance from the bottom of the bath to the waste outlet is 70mm. I would advise to speak to a plumber or builder.

Question from Alison: Asked on 15/08/2013

Can you tell me the length of the 'wider' part of the bath for the tap mounting area.

Question from don: Asked on 13/02/2013

What thickness is the acrylic on the Lisbon 1650x750 freestanding bath?

Answer from Mike B

Hi there

The lisbon bath is two sheets of 4-6mm Thick, high quality Acrylic.

Question from Kevin rigby: Asked on 16/11/2012

Hi could you please tell me what is the best way to secure the feet to the floor so the bath does not move around? I am going to use a flexible waste and tap connectors to lower the bath onto the floor, but don't know the best way to secure the feet. Cheers

Answer from Mike B

Hi there,

In relation to instalation of an item, it would be advisable to contact a professional installer as we don't do any form of instalation.

Question from Diane Bodie: Asked on 24/04/2012 Which bath waste would fit a freestanding bath the size of the Lisbon bath?

Answer from Mike B Hi there,

The relevant bath waste for this item would be product code 1662, Bath Pop Up Waste.

Question from Russ Law: Asked on 22/02/2012 Can you please advise on the internal base dimensions of this particular bath I.e length & width of internal bottom.

Answer from Kirk Thompson The internal size is 1054mm long and 430mm wide.

Question from Amy McGrory: Asked on 25/01/2012 Hi please can you tell me, what thickness is the acrylic on this bath? Thanks, Amy

Answer from Peter Hi there,
The bath is made from 5mm reinforced acrylic. Due to the design the bath does double up in thickness. The bath also features a reinforced base for added durability. As you can see online the bath is very popular and sold out mid-way through our January sale but it is due back into stock on the 31st January and available for per-ordering.

Question from Alex: Asked on 23/01/2012 Hi
How do I get the 15mm H & C to the taps when deck mounted? This assumes the bath is against a wall and not in the middle of the room.
Thanks
Alex

Answer from Kirk Thompson Hi Alex,

You would normally fit flexi tails to the bath tap, so you can attach the pipes to the tap.

Regards
BetterBathrooms
