Answer from Anthony Hi there,

Thank you for your question.

It will be suitable for most heating systems, however the unit requires 1.5 bar pressure as a minimum to function so with your heating system you may require a pump for it to work.

Question from Rani: Asked on 10/03/2015 We have pumps fitted to the water pressure. When we turn on shower we don't not get wAter straight away on some occasions. This maybe upto 2/3 mins. Then water just starts coming at full pressure.

Answer from Jamie Hi,

Thank you for your question I would consult with a plumber but by the sounds of things it sounds like the pump is not powerful enough.

Question from Carol McKenzie: Asked on 05/02/2015 Is the cabin definitely free standing (some answers say requires fixing to a wall)?
I do not have a corner to put it against and intend to have a bath behind the cabin. Is there a cover to conceal hoses, fixings etc as these will be in view when in the bath!
Also, are the green glass panels seen from the front?

Answer from Peter Hi,

Thank you for your questions.

The cabin is a fully enclosure unit but it does need to be secured to the walls therefore there are no panels to cover the pipes etc.

The green panels are pictured from the front yes.

I hope this helps.

Question from tony: Asked on 21/01/2015 will this shower work with a 4 barg pump supply on hot and cold water

Question from Carol McKenzie: Asked on 03/01/2015 There is a contradiction in your answers. One says it needs to be fitted into a corner and attached to a wall, another that it is a freestanding unit. Which is correct? if completely freestanding, when viewed from behind are the pipes and hoses exposed or enclosed behind a panel.? Is the green frosted glass visible from the front?

Answer from Nathan McGregor Hello.

Thank you for your question.

It needs to be anchored to a wall and all pipes are concealed behind an access panel.

If you have any more questions or would like to purchase this item please call us on 0161 667 6560 and ask for Nathan.

There are two air vent holes in the roof of the cabin, in one response you advise they are air vents, in the other you advise they are extractors. Question from Dave Gillett: Asked on 11/04/2014 I have to size a pump to supply this unit & other outlets in my customers house. At the required pressure of 1.5 bar, what is the flow rate through each of the three functions of the unit, I.e. Body jets, rain head & spray head. Also can any of these functions operate simultaneously. Thank you.

Answer from Peter Hi,

Thank you for your question.

The flow rates of the shower enclosure the only figures we have are as follows

0.5 1 2 3 Pressure
4.6 7.5 10.9 14 Flow rate

The shower enclosure has a diverter valve which means only one shower function will operate at a time

Question from Dave Gillett: Asked on 11/04/2014 A Stuart Turner Monsoon pump requires approx 0.6l per min flow rate to activate the flow sensors. What is the flow rate through each of the three functions at a pressure of 0.3 bar? This flow rate will tell me if I need a negative head pump. Thank you.

Answer from Peter Hi,

Thank you for your question.

The flow rates of the shower enclosure the only figures we have are as follows

0.5 1 2 3 Pressure
4.6 7.5 10.9 14 Flow rate

Is the shower cabin self sealing or do you need to use sealant when constructing?

Answer from Clive Walker

Hi there, we would advise using extra sealant to ensure the enclosure is fully sealed.

Question from toby: Asked on 29/08/2013

I'm interested in ths shower cabin but with the jets coming off the same water feed can you realistically get reasonable pressure from an average mains supply?

Answer from Clive Walker

Hi there,

This shower cabin requires a minimum pressure of 1.5 bar to function, and the greater the pressure from that point the better your flow rate will be.

I would advise speaking to a qualified plumber to determine whether your mains pressure will be enough for this shower cabin to work, from the minimum pressure provided.
